Jeff is tireless in his pursuit of excellence – in the work he does, in the results he achieves and in the relationships he builds with each client. His desire to help people realize lifelong goals and create lasting financial legacies brought him to the financial services industry, and he has spent the past 18 years providing individuals and businesses with multidimensional, holistic wealth management solutions.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration, Jeff’s financial career started with Kemper Securities (later Everen Securities, now Wachovia) in 1994. He went on to become a senior vice president of investments with previous firms. However in 2013 with the desire to be truly independent and be able to offer holistic advice, he joined his brother, Jay, in establishing Concentrum Wealth Management.
Jeff is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ so you can be sure that he provides specialized and professional planning services. To earn the CFP designation, Jeff had to complete an approved educational program, pass a rigorous examination and meet stringent experience requirements. He also adheres to a professional Code of Ethics and he fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends.
Jeff’s community commitments include membership in the University of Arkansas Alumni Association and Razorback Foundation. He is an avid Arkansas Razorback sports fan and has stayed very connected to his University. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce. He attends and volunteers at Family Community Church where he serves in children’s ministry.
Originally from Arkansas, Jeff currently resides in San Jose with his wife, Theresa, and their three children, Derek, Trevor and Alyssa. A self-proclaimed sports fanatic, he enjoys all sports golf, basketball, football, baseball, etc. He is an Arkansas Razorbacks, Dallas Cowboys, Golden State Warriors, and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He currently plays in a Men’s Basketball League in Morgan Hill. He is very involved with his children’s activities and coaches their teams in basketball, football, baseball, and soccer. An avid golfer, Jeff is also a member of Cordevalle in San Martin, CA, where he was the 2010 Harvest Cup Champion.

It was the opportunity to make a lasting difference in people’s lives that inspired Jay to become a financial advisor. Since 1998, he has provided devoted, compassionate counsel to investors as he works with them to define and then help achieve their long-term financial goals.

In addition, Jay has been accepted into Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor Group™ which is a group of financial advisors dedicated to solving some of the most complex financial problems and helping to effectively manage the distribution of assets from Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) for their clients.
Jay, an Arkansas native, lives in Morgan Hill, California, with his wife, Elizabeth, and their children, Kirsten and Braden. Elizabeth is a 4th grade teacher at Silver Oak Elementary which is located in San Jose. In his attempt to stay active and fit, Jay enjoys participating in crossfit workouts, as well as, continuing to play basketball. However, one of his most rewarding times is being able to coach his children’s basketball and soccer teams where his passion for sports is evident. When he’s not involved in family activities, Jay truly enjoys playing in competitively sanctioned golf events and enthusiastically following his beloved Arkansas Razorbacks.
Administration/Client Service Manager
Trang ensures that our clients receive the best possible service. She will book appointments for you and is the first person you should call if you have any questions about your financial planning process. She will ensure that the appropriate member of our team responds to your query.
Trang is a graduate of the University of California, Riverside and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. She continued her studies at Santa Clara University and obtained a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Education.
For the past 9 years, Trang has held multiple teaching positions at both public and private educational institutions. Her most recent teaching position was as a reading instructor at the San Jose Job Corps Center where she worked with disadvantaged young adults.
Trang is a native of California and currently resides in Campbell, California. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, baking and crafting.
Client Service Team
Jessica is another member of our Client Service Team and is there to support the team to deliver prompt and efficient service to our clients.
Prior to joining Concentrum, Jessica worked for many years as the Human Resources Manager for a privately held company that assisted the U.S. Govt. with coordinating their landscaping and design needs.
Jessica originally attended Merritt College, and received her certification in Landscape Design and Architecture.
Jessica is a native of California and currently lives in Morgan Hill, California with her husband and three daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spearheading fundraisers for her daughter’s school, helping manage the school’s sports teams, and helping with their extracurricular activities.
Jessica is passionate in giving back to the community and assists with projects to raise funding for the emergency shelter program for battered woman and children. She also is an avid gardener, and loves reading, camping, and spending time in the outdoors with her family.
Business Development Consultant
Thao concentrates on cultivating strategic business relationships that benefit both Concentrum and our clients. Using his experience and business networks for over three decades, Thao has maintained great business relations with various businesses and professional services.
In late 1977, Thao Dang left Vietnam as a teenager and survived the treacherous boat trip out of South China Sea. After a brief time in a refugee camp in Thailand, he arrived in America in early 1978. Adjusting to life very quickly in America, Thao embraced the culture and language. Being extremely hardworking and responsible, Thao worked hard in those early days at many different jobs in order to support his family.
In the early eighties, after 2½ years with the Department of Social Services in Santa Clara, Thao felt that he needed a new career challenge and wanted a greater involvement in the local community. He obtained a license to sell real estate in 1983 and enjoyed a tremendous career, working in the same office and broker at Century 21 Alpha for over 30 years. Over his career he has sold over 4000 homes with over 1 billion of real estate.
In addition to being a successful professional, Thao Dang cares deeply for his community and serves as a role model to many. He is supportive of friends and family, local communities, co-workers and clients from various ethnic cultures and backgrounds. Thao has served as a Board of Director in several non-profit organizations and is actively involved in helping and promoting other communities and business associations.
In his role as Concentrum’s Business Development Consultant, Thao will utilize his exceptional business acumen and relationship-building skills to cultivate strategic business relationships that benefit both Concentrum and our clientele.
In his spare time, Thao likes spending it with his children and family. Golf, Travel and Wine Collecting are his hobbies. With travel, he learns and appreciates other cultures and their respective values, which in turn help him to serve his efforts in business. He is also a regular fixture on the golf course and has gained many valuable friends there.
Lance is a Financial Associate with the Concentrum team and assists with financial planning, research and analysis, and client service.
Lance studied finance and economics at Santa Clara University. While he was a student, he enjoyed interning in the tech, banking, and real estate industries. However, with a passion of helping others from an early age, Lance eventually decided on fulfilling his desire with a career in financial planning. Lance is currently working towards his Certified Financial Planner designation.
A California native, Lance resides in Santa Clara. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and rooting for the Golden State Warriors
